USES

1.Color Coat is intended for use as a coatingfor exterior wall surfaces such as concrete,stucco, unit masonry, acrylic base coat insealant joints and to change the color ofcompatible textured finish.

Note:

Color Coat is not intended for useas a finish directly over a Master BuildersSolutions Wall Systems’ EIFS Base Coatand is not recommended for touch-up.

SURFACE PREPARATION

Substrates must be clean, dry, sound andfree of loose material, releasing agents,paint, efflorescence, contaminants and othercoatings. Cracks or voids must be filled withMasterProtect® FL 746/ FL 748 or appropriate,compatible material to provide a solid substrateprior to application of Color Coat. Ensurepatching material is dry prior to application of Color Coat.Color Coat100% acrylic-based coating

COVERAGE

Approximate coverage rate:69.6–116.1 m2 (750–1,250 ft2) perpail (one-coat application) may vary.Applications over concrete and masonryrequire two coats.

CONCRETE:

1. Allow concrete to cure a minimum of 28 days prior to application of Color Coat.

2.Remove all projections and form lines.

3.When needed, apply Master Builders Solutions Tinted Primer to cured concrete with asprayer, 3/8” (10mm) nap roller or good-qualitylatex paint brush at a rate of approximately150–250 ft2 per gallon (3.6–6.1 m2 per 3.8liter). Master Builders Solutions Tinted Primershall be dry to the touch before proceeding tothe Color Coat application.

UNIT MASONRY:

1. Allow unit masonry to cure prior to applicationof Color Coat

2.Remove all loose mortar and projections.

3.When needed, apply a leveling coat of MasterBuilders Solutions Base Coat to provide a smooth surface prior to application of Color Coat.
